Hello everyone, we hope that you are doing well, despite everything!
We are all so pleased to announce our plan to reopen the centre from 12th April. Please click below for information on our upcoming activities:
We will only be running craft courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays for now, and we expect this to gradually increase as lockdown restrictions are eased further. Nicola will be teaching both classes on a Tuesday and Olwyn will be teaching both classes on Thursday. We will continue to host a Zoom ‘Trivia: Train your Brain’ session on Wednesdays.
These activities are available to current attendees only, and we are unfortunately not able to take new referrals at this time. In order to ensure that attendees are able to access the centre safely, we are limiting bookings to one class per week at present. Joinery activities will run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the gardening group will continue to run on Wednesday mornings. The Old School Cafe will be operating as a takeaway service.
We will be introducing more sessions as restrictions are eased.
As before, we must continue to maintain social distancing, wear masks or visors during all sessions, and complete a temperature check for track and trace forms when entering the building. Visits are still strictly by appointment only. If you book a session for any department and are unable to attend you must let us know as soon as possible, so your space can be offered to someone else that day.
To book onto one of the craft sessions or for more information, please contact the centre on 0191 384 8100 or enquiries@stmargaretscentre.co.uk, or by messaging us on our Facebook. If you don’t get through to someone on the phone, please leave a message with your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
We can’t wait to see you all again!
